Sarde

Sarde is a Seafood restaurant in Mexico City (Roma Norte), $$$$; open Mon–Sat 14:00–23:00; Sun 12:00–19:00; book at https://www.opentable.com/r/sarde-ciudad-de-mexico.

Roma Norte townhouse seafood spot where the mackerel crudo has its own Instagram following. Chef Jacob Harth built Sarde (meaning 'sardine') into one of Roma's most coveted reservations-a dim, cave-like room with exposed brick and a sit-at bar. The menu changes constantly but leans into Mexico's coasts: kampachi crudo, octopus in black ink, fish and chips done properly, and sardines with tangerine on sourdough. Natural wine list that rewards lingering, below the Petra Hifi listening bar.
